( Projection from Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2022)  It's currently October 22nd which means Christmas is just a few short days away.... at the Disney Parks that is. And if you're anything like me, you are not so patiently awaiting the return of the festive decor that showers the Magic Kingdom once Halloween is over.  With the holidays being just around the corner, you might have seen tickets for Disney World's Christmas after hours events go on sale recently. These would be Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights (a NEW Christmas party). If you've never been to one of these hard ticket events, you're probably wondering how one goes about getting tickets and making the most out of these parties. Lucky for you, I'm going to ...

Diving into the Disney College Program

Image
(The start of my DCP at Disney University 2022) Let's be honest, the Disney College Program (DCP) isn't very well known unless you are already in the Disney community. I definitely didn't know about it until I was doing research for my very first Disney trip. So I understand it can be tough trying to understand exactly what it is if you have little to no experience with the topic.  In short, the Disney College Program is an internship with the Walt Disney Company that can last anywhere between three to six months initially and up to a year with an extension. During this program you can be placed to work in any of the major roles in the parks: custodial, merchandise, attractions, entertainment, character attendant, lifeguard, and food and beverage. At this point you...

The BEST places to take photos at Walt Disney World

Image
If you're anything like me, then you LOVE to get a good photo when you're visiting any place that is remotely interesting. Disney is definitely one of those places. There is no way I am going to the parks and not letting everyone know that I'm there with the array of photos that I have in my camera roll. No. Way.  Lucky for me (and for you), going to the parks often has allowed me to find some pretty neat spots that will have your social media feed - or your camera roll - looking stunning! EPCOT This is the park I have the most photos at - and not just because it was the only park I could get into for a while. Epcot is my favorite park to just chill at. There's no pressure to get anything done or rush to the next ride, you can just relax.  Photo Spot 1                                                         ...

Introduction to Disney with Kass

Image
Welcome to Disney with Kass!💓 Hi! I'm Kassandra, a former Walt Disney World cast member and Disney College Program Alum. If you're here, you probably have an interest - even if it is just a little - in all things Disney.                                                                  ( My most recent trip to WDW - 2023 ) A little background✨ I grew up in rural Oklahoma most of my life, but went back and forth between Oklahoma and Texas. I didn't go on my first Disney World trip until I was 19 years old, but when I got there I fell in love. From then on, I knew that I was destined to work for the parks at some point in my life. I'd plan trips with the help from my favorite blogger and youtuber, The Disney Food Blog , and fantasize about the day I'd finally allow myself to apply for the D...
